Greetings Dear Friends
Wow, what an amazing summer we've been enjoying. It took a while to get here, but it's been lovely. I've been very busy preparing and mounting my first art show. Exciting. Thanx to everyone who has helped out and/or attended the openings.
I'm quite excited about the continued showing of my paintings, and some of the musical events happening this month, including a couple of Jennis house concerts.We really enjoy the intimacy of house concerts - if you feel like you'd like to host one, please let me know. See the details below.

DON'T FORGET THE GOOD STUFF
With all the challenges facing the world in the form of earthquakes, hurricanes, American sabre-rattling, racist rallies in Charlottesville, etc., it is easy to get mired in negativity. It's important to remind ourselves of all the positive things that are happening that get very little attention from the mainstream media. There are many things happening that suggest that maybe people are waking up!
Lately the negativity that seems to be generated or encouraged by the Trump administration has spawned some very positive reactions. Groups of concerned citizens, including Antifa, have organized to resist the white-supremacist and neo-Nazi gatherings. For more info from Democracy Now, click here: anti-fascist
It's been very gratifying to see what athletes have been doing lately to protest Trump and his hateful messages. They have been willing to put careers and endorsement contracts in jeopardy in order to have a voice against police brutality, racism, etc. For mor info about that, click here:
The infamous Clinton associate, Anthony Weiner, has been sentenced to 2 years for inappropriate sexual behavior with a minor. He's a man with a history of activities linking him to pedophilia. Hopefully this will lead to more investigation of other disturbing info of this nature that surrounds the Clintons and other elites, some of which came to light with the Wikileaks releases that became known as 'pizzagate' or 'pedogate'. Also, Weiner is at the center of the illegal e-mail activity of Hillary during the last election. Hopefully this will spur a renewal of that investigation. In true form, Hillary is using this publicity to promote her new book, 'What Happened', in which she blames Weiner and claims to have had no knowledge... There's a story about legislation being proposed to force Ontario physicians to disclose how much money and perks is being given to them by pharmaceutical companies, There seems to be a growing trend worldwide to curtail this kind of unethical behavior on the part of big pharma.
